VisionFund is seeking 01 qualified candidate to fill the position of Operations Manager for responsible for overseeing and supervising sound implementation of Operational policies and procedures of regional and branch operations. S/he will provide leadership and day-to-day management of the regional and branch offices and ensure all credit activities are undertaken in line with MFI Operation policies. S/he will oversee and promote MFI activities by building sustainable, high quality loan portfolio, developing lending capacities, evaluating and recommending new procedures and policies, ensuring a smooth going on partnership and integration, and providing on-the-job training and seminars to MFI personnel, particularly for key branch staff. Moreover, relevant external business operations
environment progress are regularly observed, analyzed, and reported to her/his supervisor and management for information and necessary support action and/or future strategy formulation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Assist Director of Operations (DO) in preparing the institution business plan and formulating the operations Plan of Action (POA).
 Conduct field visits to assigned branches to oversee field operations and provide necessary support and improvement actions.
 Support the DO in setting performance targets for branches.
 Regularly observe relevant external factors that have impact on business operations for necessary proactive response and/or practical strategy development.
 Provide timely response to audit reports and monitor implementation of risk & quality assurance and audit findings in the branches.
 Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and uniformly across all branches.
 Monitor and analyze disbursement, collection, deposits and withdrawals plans.
 Ensure branches make profit and are sustainable for the long run.
 Coordinate with the Human Resources department to plan personnel capacity of the branches.
 Approve all loans on the credit committee of the branches above Regional Manager’s approval level and within his/her approval level.
 Set performance targets for branches,
 Manage and evaluate region/branch operating budgets, expenditures and accomplishment of objectives in the assigned region.

Requirement Competencies:
 Master Degree in economics, finance or business administration.
 Good managerial skills.
 Extensive experience in credit operations.
 Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
 At least 2 years working experience in a middle management position (e.g. Branch Manager, Unit Manager) in one of the following: micro-enterprise lending organization, banking institution, a progressive corporate environment, or economic and business development institution.
 Must have clear understanding of microfinance industry and technology and at least 3 years’ experience in Microfinance industry.
 Communication and marketing skills.
 Effective written and oral communication.
 English language knowledge: read, write, and speak well.
 Financial management foundation knowledge.
 Analytical and problem solving skills.
 This position requires domestic travel 50% of time.
