Senior Android Developer (URGENT)

Responsibilities

Working as a Senior Android Software Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

– Design and development of native Android applications
– Work closely with developers, designers and QA to customize the experience for the Android platform
– Build reusable and extensible components that will be leveraged across solutions
– Analyze and optimize code for efficiency and performance
– Participate in requirements analysis, UX/UI discussions, and sprint code reviews and demos
– Provide technical expertise and insight during architectural and design discussions with teams

The abilities and experience we are looking for are:

– Strong background and experience in Android mobile development
– Strong Java Android development skills
– Proficient in the Android platform and SDK (Java, Android Studio)
– Proficient in memory management, networking concepts and practices
– Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTPS, REST Web Services
– Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases
– 1+ year of experience in Android development
– Good experience and understanding of Version Control Systems (Git)
– Talented and passionate about new technologies and mobile ecosystem
– Good level of spoken and written English to communicate in an international environment (certification is a plus)
– Good communication skills
– Quality-oriented mindset, attention to details
