Shift Operations Engineer (NOC)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive both internal and external escalates in outage situation.
  • Makes sure that notifications are sent in a timely manner.
  • Basic troubleshooting including replacing boards and cards of telecom equipment in case of faults and alarms
  • Performing preventive maintenance inspections of telecom, power and other equipment.
  • Controlling environment conditions at the MSC and power equipment room
  • Keeping record for routing system inspections and alarms
  • Alarm management including informing respective personal in case of faults during shift
  • 24h alarm and real-time network performance monitoring use various monitoring tools.
  • Escalation of faults in network to responsible divisions.
  • Manage site access and security.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities within live network.
  • Preparation of reports related to network status and shift operation activities.
  • Prepare network KPI report (Traffic per BSC, CSR per BSC, Trunk load, site down time report, alarm report).
  • To be available working in shift schedule including weekend or holiday.
  • Complete all other activities assigned by the supervisor as per management decision.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Telecommunication, IT, Electrical and Energetic Engineering;
  • Good in English and Khmer, both written and spoken
  • Basic understanding knowledge in GSM/UMTS Network fundamentals, theories and operations
  • Understanding basic concept of SS7 signaling and signaling call flow in core network
  • Basic understanding IP routing protocol
  • Minimum one (1) to two (2) years work experience in relevant field
  • Experience with Huawei OCS is prefer.
