Crédit Mutuel Kampuchea (CMK), opened in Cambodia in 2004 by Crédit Mutuel, the second largest cooperative bank in France through the Centre International du Crédit Mutuel (CICM), is a cooperative group that belongs to its members who share common interests.
Members are the only CMK’s shareholders. By becoming a member, you are involved in the affairs of your local Branch by expressing your opinion during the General Assembly and by electing the person who will represent you on the board of directors of your branch.
CMK’s objective is to provide access to savings, credit and banking services to everyone especially the less privileged population.
Crédit Mutuel Kampuchea is registered at the National Bank of Cambodian and with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Royal Government of Cambodia. It is supported by French embassy in Cambodia and l’Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
